One year

It's been a year now, since Mom's been gone.
Still miss her.

Aunt Jean called last week and left a message on my voice mail. When I went to retrieve the message it startled me a bit, because she sound so much like Mom.

I'm still temping at the City of Sacramento solid waste department.
The assignment went from being 3 months to over a year now.

I'm so fed up with the young girls fresh out of highschool with their know it all attitude that I tried to quit today. They wouldn't let me. Thank God!

Graduation Day!

Today Emery graduates from high school!
He's worked very hard to meet his goal of graduating a year early and he's met that goal and then some.
He's actually been done with school for a couple months now. :D
On to another scene for him...

One of Emery's goals is to find a suitable part time job and to spend more time as a minister of God's word.
He got his drivers license last month and so we're looking into finding a nice used car for him. My goal is to find him one that he won't have to put any work into.

Will post grad pics when we get them.

Agape!

Do this in rememberance

...the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was going to be handed over took a loaf and, after giving thanks, he broke it and said: ‘This means my body which is in your behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.’ He did likewise respecting the cup also, after he had the evening meal, saying: ‘This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood. Keep doing this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’"—1 Corinthians 11:23-25.

Easter is celebrated to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus, but reputable sources link this celebration to false worship.
The Westminster Dictionary of the bible says Easter was "originally the spring festival in honor of the Teutonic goddess of light and spring know in Anglo-Saxon as Eastre.
The 11th edition of the Encyclopædia Britannica states: "There is no indication of the observance of the Easter festival in the New Testament."
Easter was never observed by early Christians and is not celebrated by Jehovah's people today.

Still miss her..

I still miss her. Wish I could call her. I need her.
