Getting back on track

Well, it's been almost a year since I last posted. I promised myself, I will make a better effort to post more frequently.

I let my daughter move back home the beginning of the year. She has blessed me with my first grand child. A grandson. I have looked forward to being a grandmother, but till now, I had no idea how utterly wonderful it would be. He is my joy and if you ask him, next to his mother...Gma is his world. So much so that when Gma gets home from work, mom no longer seems to exist. Oh, I tell ya, he's got a smile that can bring joy to any heart.

We all agree that he looked very much like his great grandmother when he first entered the world. She'd get a kick out of that!

I got the wonderful opportunity to be there when he was born and was the first to see his beautiful brown hair. (well, me and the doc of course) Boy did he have a lot of it.

We pulled out the family pictures to see how much Aiden looked like his mom, only to discover that he looked a lot like his uncle Emery! The dimple on his left cheek and the way he furrows his brow, looks like his daddy.
Sadly, his daddy isn't around anymore.

I know the day will come when Lilly and Aiden will move out. On the one hand, I'm looking forward to it, on the other hand, I will miss Aiden terribly.
